Wallpiece housing pendant containing earrings

This piece is based around a pair of chequered wooden earrings featuring a blue moonstone cabochon. When not being worn the earrings fit together to form a circlular disc shape. This then nestles inside a turned and carved African blackwood pendant with the moonstone showing through the lid at the front.

The pendant can then be hung in a recess carved into the sculptural wooden wallpiece.

The materals used include Silver, gold, African blackwood, Spanish olivewood, thuya burr, bone and blue moonstones.
